Kind of Pissed Off
by Raquel @ Monday, July 7 2008, in general
I’m kind of annoyed, scratch that, really frakking pissed off about the Kotobukiya Clone Trooper I’ve been wanting to buy for ages. So, we ordered it Friday off Forbidden Planet, and all was good – the final price would be around 75 euros, which is expensive but acceptable. Today we get an e-mail from the store stating that the postage value was more expensive and the final price of the figure plus shipping is around 100 euros. Yep, 25 euros more in postage than it was before.
So now I’m not sure what to do. I’ll search around a bit more for stores selling it, I guess. I’m getting more and more frustrated with some stores.
Meh. Frakking meh.

Everyone is using the damn oil prices as an excuse to make more money. And it’s always us, consumers, that get the short end of the stick … >_<
(PS: I don’t want to generalize, I know, some industries are genuinely affected by oil prices, but the comment is more interesting like this heh)

I know the oil prices influence the products’ final prices, but it’s a really big difference. 20 euros is over 25% of the total cost it would have with the ‘old’ price. Meh. :\
I’m really frustrated right now so I shouldn’t try to articulate words regarding the Kotobukiya figures. I might start swearing a lot. :P

that sucks :\
although it’s just weird that price change post-buy. you should ask for a more precise explanation from them or demand that they provide one of those slower but cheaper solutions that normally exist but stores don’t use.
