I live in Portugal, Europe, not in the United States. However I’ve been rooting for Barack Obama in these USA elections. It’s impossible to deny that the USA are a very influential country, not only politically, but culturally.

Not only is he a democrat, he is intelligent, is not a war-addict cowboy, has a multi-cultural background, he is not a religious fanatic, and is the living proof that mentalities of people and the acceptance of those who are part of a minority of different people can improve as time passes.

I can’t cast a vote, but I support what the guy stands for. Progress.

I really hope he wins.
