Passport to Portugal
by Raquel @ Wednesday, February 10 2010, on general
My friend Dave gave me a link to an article (in portuguese) about a clothing brand called J. Crew, one of Michelle Obama’s favourites, having done a photoshoot in Portugal, mostly in Lisbon, my alma mater.
Following a link from that article, I went to J. Crew’s official site, and found the section called Passport to Portugal.
I like seeing Portugal (and Lisbon) getting the spotlight in other countries, and this ‘passport’ is nicely done. If you want to learn a tiny bit about Portugal, do check it out.
The only thing wrong there is that the picture illustrating the ’sardinha assada’ (’roasted sardine’) is not exactly what the sardines are supposed to look like (the ones in the photo seem fried), but something resembling this. I thought that would be very important to clear up since it’s the dish I love the most in our awesome cuisine. ;)
